Dancing has manifold advantages, for both young and the old. Dancing contributes immensely to the personal development of the child and thereby enhances all types of skills that are required for better education. Research has shown that dancing boosts children's self-esteem and enhances confidence in them. Dancing requires memorization and so helps children improve their overall memory when trying to remember steps. Dancing improves listening skills in children, whether it is for the instructions or for the beats. Dancing imbibes social skills in children and teaches them how to interact with their peers in a positive and a non-competitive manner.

KARATE

The obvious benefit from learning karate is the improvement of physical health. The student learns to exercise regularly several times a week, which is one of the most useful lifetime habits. This results in balancing blood pressure and circulation. Moreover, the student gets flexible muscles and joints.

Music

Music participation provides a unique opportunity for literacy preparation. Whether the children are singing, playing, or listening, teachers direct them to listen and hear in new ways which exercises their aural discrimination. Playing instruments and adding movement to the lessons teaches children about sequential learning which is essential in reading comprehension.

YOGA

Although many people think of yoga as primarily a type of exercise, it is actually a centuries-old lifestyle practice, which can strengthen the bodies and calm the minds of both adults and children. The stretching and breathing movements of yoga, along with its mind relaxation techniques, can keep children active, healthy and calm.
