Master Chef Competition was organized by RPS, Bhilai UNDER THE AEGIS OF Sanjay Rungta Group of Institutions on 12th April 19.The main objective was to encourage the students to have a taste for food and know how to prepare different cuisines of various countries.
The students from Classes VII- IX enthusiastically participated in the competition. Indian palatable dishes especially Rajasthani cuisines, Gujrati dishes and delicious food of other regions were prepared and served by the little chefs.
The centre of attraction was South African Dish, Chaka laka, a mixture of fresh fried vegetables.The Flavoured Dish was favoured by the panel of judges.
The students brought raw vegetables, spices and other ingredients for preparation .Cooking , as an art was well executed by the participants.
The mouth- watering dishes like Khandawi, Pav Bhaji, Srikhand, Dhokla were much liked by the crowd.
Mr.Arup Mukhopadhyay, CEO, Mr.Amitava Bandyopadhyay, H.M., Ms.Deepti Singh, HOP appreciated the efforts of the Future Chefs of RPS.
The Master Chef was the beginning of promoting culinary skills among the present generation to give direction to their leisure pursuit.
As part of International School Award Activity by British Council, RPS is taking initiative to make learning , an exploration with limitless opportunities.
