Shri Rai Saheb Richhpalji Rungta, the distinguished scion of the family, along with Shri Ghanshyam Dasji Rungta, served as the torchbearers of this noble tradition. With sincerity and dedication, they initiated the mission of providing quality education to the people of Durg, Bhilai, and neighbouring regions. Their vision was to spark educational reform and uplift this part of the country. That small spark they ignited has now grown into a guiding beacon. Today, this legacy has become a proud tradition — carried forward by their successors with commitment, consistency, and remarkable success.
LIGHTING MANY LIVES
The GD Rungta Educational Society began its journey in 1999 with an initial intake of just 240 students. Today, the scenario has transformed remarkably. The institution now nurtures more than 4,000 students from different parts of the country and across the globe. As the number of students pursuing Engineering, Technical Studies, Management, Dental Sciences, Graduation, and Post-Graduation continues to rise, the demand for qualified teachers and support staff also increases. Our faculty is carefully selected by a highly professional team that acts as the bridge between parents and the institution, upholding the trust placed in us through strong ethical practices.
